Jim phoned me on my way home from work tonight to let me know of the good work that was carried out last night.
Firstly a big thankyou to Bill Nelson & his son who laid slabs down in the boat house another very important improvement for the newly named “Boat House Bistro” combined with the slabbed area in the front which has been affectionately named as the “Veranda Bay Bar”. You will all agree when you see it a much improved facility for us all to enjoy.
Thanks are also in line for Billy McCluskie who was also busy installing new ropes on the boats, giving the grass a wee trim & tidying up some rubbish that has been accumulating around the hut.
Well done for taking the initiative & helping out the UAAA.
